TIPS ON CHOOSING THE RIGHT LED SCOREBOARD
Types of LED Scoreboards
In addition to being energy efficient, LEDs are very robust as they do not have a filament that becomes brittle after reheating, thus reducing maintenance costs. The other nice feature about LEDs is their longevity; LEDs are rated for a life of 100,000 hours: more than 11 years.
Many LED Scoreboards include a fully Graphical User Interface (GUI) scoreboard controls, first doorbell powered lighted house numbers, and the first to use PDA's for scoreboard controls
There are generally two types of LED Scoreboard modules that have viewing distances that are different.
Standard LED Scoreboards::Standard Viewing Distances
10" Standard Modules - 100 Metres
12" Standard Modules - 125 Metres
18" Standard Modules - 200 Metres
Ultra-Bright LED Scoreboards:: Ultra-Bright Viewing Distances
9" Ultrabright Modules - 135 Metres
12" Ultrabright Modules- 175 Metres
18" Ultrabright Modules - 275 Metres
The Ultra-Bright Modules are slightly more expensive due to their greater viewing distance.
